The Couples Challenge Open Water Swim

Another busy weekend for us starting off iwth a brand new open water swimming event based at newbiggen by the sea. there where 2 distances to compete in a 1500m and a 3000m race.

The overaul winner was:

1500m - Lauren Aisbitt in a time of 00:27:49

3000m - Colin Hill in a time of 00:50:49

The Couples Middle Distance Triathlon 2010

The first time that this event has been hosted here in the north a great turn out for a new event, great organisation this event is sure to be popular in the years to come.

The winner was:

Alan Copeland leading from the start in a fantastic time of 03:59:49
