Weigh Me In is a free app for match fishing. Add each angler, enter every net weight, and it adds up the total for you. It works with no signal, on any phone.
Four things matter when you are weighing in a match. This does all four.
No account, no sign-up and no app store. Open the link and start weighing.
Load it once with a signal. After that it opens and keeps working in a field with none.
It runs in the phone's web browser, so it works on iPhone, Android and tablets. Add it to the home screen and it opens like an app.
Every angler and every net weight is saved on the phone the moment you add it. Shut the app and it is all still there. If you wish, the match is also stored online.
Weigh Me In does not need the internet to add up a weigh-in. Add weights, check totals and see results with the signal gone.
Results are worked out for you. The heaviest total wins the lake, and each section has its own winner and ranking. Tap a lake to try it.
Live leaderboards let everyone keep up with the match while it is still being fished. Anglers, friends, family and sponsors can see who is leading, at the venue or a long way from the water.
Anglers, spectators and sponsors open the leaderboard on their own phones and see the standings as each net is weighed. No need to wait around the scales or for a board to be written up.
Friends, family and supporters who could not make it follow the same leaderboard from home, work or the other side of the country. Just share the link.
Large events with in-match net weighing are where it shines. Section and lake standings change through the day, so the result stays open until the final weigh-in.
Leaderboards update when the weigh-in phone is online and storing the match online. If the bank is a dead spot, the weights still save on the phone and the leaderboard catches up as soon as it is back online.
Open the app once with a signal, then add it to your home screen. After that it opens from its own icon.
Yes. The live leaderboard shows the lake and section standings as nets are weighed, so people at the venue and people far away can keep up with the match as it happens. It suits large matches with in-match weighing.
No. Weigh Me In is free to use.
Only the first time you open it, so the phone can keep a copy. After that it works with no signal. When we release an update, the phone picks it up the next time it opens with a signal.
On your phone, in its web browser storage, so they are always there even with no signal. If you wish, they are also stored online, which backs up the weigh-in and feeds the live leaderboards. If you are not storing a match online, do not clear your browser data in the middle of it, because that also clears the weigh-in.
Enter pounds and ounces. Ounces run from 0 to 15, and the app warns you if you type 16 or more.
Yes. Each net weight has Change and Delete buttons, and you can edit an angler's name, peg, lake and section at any time.
