Weigh Me In: A Match Weight System Built for Match Fishing Anglers
Results are what we do.
For years that has meant live race results, live tracking and personalised finisher certificates for runners. But results aren't only about running, and recently we were asked to take on something a little different.
A system for match fishing
We were asked to create a system for match fishing anglers to record match weights for their event. Anyone who has been on the bank at the end of a match knows the scene: nets lifted, scales out, and weights scribbled down on paper while everyone waits to find out who has won their section and who has taken the lake.
So we built Weigh Me In.
It's a simple, phone-friendly web app. Add an angler, record their section and lake, and save their weight as they come to the scales. Weights are saved on the phone, so they're safe even when the signal on the bank isn't brilliant.
Why it matters
Whether it's 3,000 runners at a 10k or a few dozen anglers on a lake, the job is the same: get accurate results, quickly, to the people who are waiting for them. Weigh Me In takes the paperwork out of the weigh-in, cuts down on mistakes and gets match weights recorded properly from the first angler to the last.
Got an event that needs results?
Weigh Me In came about because someone asked. If you have a sporting event and need the latest in live, customised results, get in touch. We may just be able to help.
